~1 week old~

~Just Days old~

On day 2 Renee Brought me some binky's
to hopefully help my little baby sleep. Because my milk hadn't
come in yet and she was crabby that first night!
She also brought us these adorable little bunny slippers!!
I just love them!! they are so fuzzy and soft!!
Finally sleeping!! on the evening of day
2 my milk came in and baby slept very well
that night she was full and happy!!
day 3 still sleeping!! And so peacefully now!!
I was soooo obsessed with taking pictures of her!
I was on bed rest, so we were
stuck in bed for the first 4 days
so I just took tons and tons of pix!!
They aren't the best though, laying down doesn't
really give you the best angle for photos!! LOL!
Day 4 We were able to get out of bed and go in the
living room to sit on the couch and watch T.V.
By now her face is shaping up pretty well!
sheIs getting chubbier and cuter!!
My cute little sleeping baby. She has started to
get really crabby when it gets hot, so
every afternoon we have to strip her down to
her onsie and socks!

~Aug 23 2006~

~Jasmine Trixie Fowler ~ Is Born~

~She weighed 7lbs 5oz~ and was 21 inches long~
She was born at our new house. And it ended up being a water birth.
Labour stared at about 8:30pm on Aug 22 and 14 hours later
I was holding my first baby.
When the midwife handed her to me the first thing I thought,
and actually said was "she looks like ABE."
She had a squished up nose with a crease on top and wrinkly brow.
And enough meat on her boned to look healthy, not skinny
like most of the new babies I have seen.
She had big dark eyes, Lots of black hair that came down onto
her face and actually connected with her eye-brows.
She also had sideburns!!
She was very awake and alert and aware of what
was going on around her. When we would talk to her she would
look up at our faces. And she actually smiled for Joe
when he was taking these pictures!!
And look at those big Fowler feet. her feet were longer than
my longest finger! and they were rather tall and bulky as well.

~Our First House~

~In July 2006 We bought our first house~
~here is our front entryway~ And our living room~
By the way these are all pix taken as soon
as we got our keys. so they are all
"Before" shots. Cause later on that day we
ripped out all the Carpet and tile and basically
de-junked.
~Our Dining room~And the 2nd living room~
also know as the cement room, game room, back room,
storage room, play room, room with heater, ect.
~Here is my wonderfully large kitchen~
I was sooooo happy to finally have a real kitchen,
with cupboard space to spare!
~Our 4 Bedreooms~
~The Nursury~ and Master Bedroom~
~Joe's Halo room~My sewing/yoga/storageroom~
We assigned the dark room to be the Halo room because Joe
always used his projection screen and so he
shuts all the doors and covers up the windows
so he can see.

~BBQ Joe~

In July 2006 when I was 9 months Pregnant!! I was Craving Steak!! As I had been for the past 9 months! So Joe went outside to fire up the BBQ to make me a steak. I stayed in the house and watched T.V. I hadn't noticed that joe had been outside for a while until he came barging through the door saying he needed some help. Then he ran back out! When i followed him outside I saw him standing with the hose pouring on his leg and the concrete was black and so was a section of the grass.

As it turns out he had poured some alcohol on the fire because he was out of lighter fluid. and when he went to set the bottle down on the cement it slipped out of his hand and basically exploded spaying alcohol and a flame on his leg and the grass and cement. He looked down and noticed his leg was on fire so he dropped on the grass and rolled around till the fire was out, then he got up and put out the flame on the grass and cement with the hose.

Joe ended up having 2nd and 3rd degree burns all over his leg. Luckily it happened to be his bad leg. From his motorcycle accident that has skin grafts that are numb. So he said that he could prolly only feel maybe half of the burns. But those burns blistered up big and took a while to heal, we had to bandage them 2-3 times a day. Thes pictures do not do the burns justice they looked a lot worse in person.

at Ashley & jared's Reception
I am 8 months along and Stacy is 5 months.
Ashley and Jared's Wedding and Reception
was Pretty much my pregnancy project!! I was the
Wedding Planner, Maid of Honor, Photographer,
Florist, Decorator and Catorer!
Is that it? There seemed to be more! hehehe!
I made all the Boquets, boutineers, and corsages.
Luckily Ashley wanted fake flowers so I
was able to make them all well in advance!
I also made that cake! It was my
first wedding cake! I thought that i did pretty well if
I do say so myself! The 2 bottom levels are fake
so i carved them out of styrophome and
then topped them with frosting & fondont.
The top level was real and renee baked it for me and on the day
of the Reception I put the frosting, fondont and decoration
on it! the cake inside was German chocolate!
We didn't have room in the budget for a cake stand so we
turned my veggi platter upside-down and used that instead!!
for the sign in table I printed a bunch of their wedding
pix and framed them, I also made them a
srapbook full of pictures for their Sign in book!
we had lots of colored gell pens for people
to make their notes with!
